Bia GPS Watch
Back in September, I did a review of the Bia GPS sport watch. I think this is one of the best new products of 2014. I love the SOS feature and I love that you can transfer workout data wirelessly. This watch is waterproof, has a decent battery life and includes all of the features you would expect from a high-end GPS watch (except it does not have a backlight). If you are in the market for a GPS watch, be sure to check out Bia.
Petzl NAO 2014
This is basically the headlamp of all headlamps. First, this headlamp has reactive technology, so it automatically adapts light output on the run (which helps improve battery life). Second, this headlamp has a maximum brightness of 575 lumens. That will shine about 135 meters, and even at that brightness, it will last for 6.5 hours. This headlamp is $185 (I never said it was perfect) and is available at Running Warehouse. Get 10% off with code RUNBLOG10.
Full disclosure: I do not own this headlamp, nor have I tried it. I use a 2013 Black Diamond Storm Headlamp that maxes out at 100 lumens.
Giddy Up Bar
Back in July, I did a post about the Giddy Up Bar. These bars are delicious and nutritious. You should definitely check them out. They are available at The Feed.
The Feed
Speaking of The Feed, this new-to-me website has all of your training/racing nutritional needs. While I encourage you to shop locally, sometimes there are products that are not available. That is where The Feed comes in. Check it out! Buy a gel. Buy a bar. Heck, buy two.
Happy Holidays. I hope Santa remembers your Body Glide.
