Looks like a solid 2015 schedule!!! I do have 2015 mapped already at least the late winter and spring that is. It includes a half marathon, road mile, and late June 5K. I don’t race during the summers. Florida is to brutal for that lol 🙂

  2. Cayuga Trails 50 is on my short list. The idea of running around the Ithaca countryside is quite appealing.

  3. Oh my gosh, I haven’t even given a thought to 2015! Since third year is notorious for being impossible schedule wise, my real goal is to just run at all and enter races when I’m not on call. In a perfect world, I’ll be able to keep up about 50 miles a week with a workout or two a week but we’ll see.

You’re just like me man, I plan super far in advance too. There’s so much distance and pain on your schedule! Don’t you think a few little 5K’s sprinkled in there might be freshen you up between all that madness?

I plan more in seasons. 5K season is March through June. 10K season is with Half Marathon buildup from August through October, with a Half at the start of November. I don’t think I could handle your schedule… good luck!

You’re putting in major work! Kudos!

I want to do the KY derby festival marathon in April and Half Ironman in August up in MI.

  6. Yup, my preliminary schedule is already plotted…I was registered for the CT50 this year and had to pass due to family issues, but it’s on for ’15! Also going to throw down and do the Escarpment Run, among others, and the Nipmuck Marathon (#4 for me), as well as our local RI winter trail series, and some Western Mass. Athletic Club races, so a healthy dance card, so to speak!

I have one race in my thoughts but nothing carved in stone. Sounds like you have a great 2015 ahead of you!

  8. Sandy says:

Looks like it will be a great season! I was looking at the Cayuga 50 the other night. I can’t run 50 miles yet but the idea of racing on trails in Ithaca sounds pretty amazing. I’m adding it to my race bucket list.

  9. Solid schedule! I want to do a 50 miler next year, too. 🙂

What do you think?
