Depressions: A Few Moments From 30 Miles in the Canyon (featuring Rob Krar)

This is a great short film (featuring Rob Krar). If you’ve ever suffered from depression, or know someone who has, I’m sure you can relate in some way.

Good short, this. Seems like a lot of ultra folks are running to beat something…

  2. Maria Mintz says:

I don’t like the trail dust or footing on this at all. I’d probably break my neck.

  3. Running has saved me from a lot. That’s why I love it so much, we’ve all heard that quip “Running is my drug of choice” or similar, running keeps me moving forward. When I start to get my depressed thoughts catching up with me, I can go run and cry it out or I can just move and think. It helps me sleep at night, knowing that I actually did something during the day. Running keeps me moving, so I don’t get trapped and isolated in my house. Running has brought me to a community. Running has also saved me from eating disorders. If I couldn’t run I don’t know what I would do. Wen I recently became injured, I cried all the time and my mood swung to the lowest it has been in a long time. Thank you for sharing. We all just need to remember that we are not alone. Depression is not a weakness!
